Raptor Classes...

Educational Lectures and Field Trips:

Throughout the year the Falcon Research Group holds several educational raptor classes. These classes are generally held in the western Washington area and consist of both lectures and field trips. As we establish our class schedule we will post the dates and times here. New classes will be announced in the "latest FRG news" box.

Our Hawkwatching in Western Washington class is held each winter in Seattle and other nearby venues. The cost is typically $130 which covers five evening lectures and a day field trip.

In the late summer we typically hold a Fall Migration class in conjunction with our Entiat Ridge migration study. Class participants will be introduced to the method of trapping and banding raptors, and they may be invited to join the project.
